              Veteran Lake Captain Dead.
              
              Laporte, Ind., January 3. - (Special) -
            CAPT. JAMES DUNN, of Muskegon, Mich., a
            veteran lake captain and widely known in
            Chicago and Detroit marine circles, died
            suddenly at Michigan City last night of
            valvular disease of the heart. He was 63
            years of age and leaves a widow and one
            son. The interment will take place at
            Muskegon.
