WILLIAM STONER, a veteran lake captain and vessel owner, died at Monroe, Mich., yester- day. He was captain of various boats and was part owner of the Rush, Snowdrop, Rebecca and St. Joseph, which ran between Monroe and Buffalo. He never lost a vessel nor had a serious accident. Capt. STONER celebrated his golden wedding Dec. 3, 1895.
