XV. OLD SERIES, NO. 28 VOL. II. NEW SERIES, NO. 46 One of the saddest duties which has devolved upon us to perform for a long time is the chronicling of the death of MR. PLUMBEEK'S five children. It was only a short time since they were all in apparent good health and spirits, but in an unexpected hour that fatal destroyer diptheria made its appearance in the little flock, and one by one, they succumbed to its terrible work, until Sunday the last of the family of children closed their eyes to this world forever. MR. PLUMBEEK has the sympathy of the entire community in his great calamity. ===========================================================================
