[abstracted death notices]

 - GUS. SONERAL buried a young child on Tuesday - some complicatons
   after the measles.
   
 - Mr. PHILLIP JEFFERSON, lost a bright boy of nine, by brain fever,
   Saturday night, an after effect of measles. The funeral services
   were conducted by Rev. V. Powell at the Baptist church.
