XII No. 22 [abstracted death notices] - Mr. and Mrs. R. HATFIELD lost two of their boys recently from lung fever, aged 8 and 7 years. - In our notice of the death of Mrs. MAILHOT, last week we said "wife of FRANK MAILHOT" we should have said "J. E." A mistake we regret, but one for which we can get no sympathy save from craftsmen. - Mr. and Mrs. A. W. WABROSCHECK have the heartfelt sympathy of all their friends, in their cruel bereavement. Their oldest child, a young lady of about 17 years of age, was buried on Wednesday of this week; she died last Monday of scarlet fever. She was a young lady of culture and refinement, of amiable disposition and lovely character and her death is a sad bereavement. The loss of a child grown to womanhood, parents whose fond, hopeful love looks forward to the comfort, a gentle hand to solace them in their declining years, is so deep that words of consolation seem barren and void and they must look to him who knows our frame who remembers that we are dust. ===========================================================================
