Her death was a sad suprise to many of her school mates who had not heard of her sickness. She was a willing and an earnest student and won the respect of her teachers by her orderly conduct and good manners. The high school, together with the teachers and pupils of the other departments, unite in sympathy with the bereaved relatives. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Ludington Record Thursday, December 4, 1884 Card of Thanks We return thanks to those friends to whom we are so much indebted for thoughtful sympathy and kindly services during the sad days of our bereavment and at the burial of our beloved daughter. While we mourn for her, we still re- member with heartfelt gratitude the neighbors whose sympathy was a sustaining power to us.
