New Series No. 21 Thursday, October 11, 1883 ANDREW E. L. HANSEN, aged 24 years, 10 months, died last Friday of typhoid fever, after a sickness of about three weeks. Deceased was a native of Denmark and had been in this country five years. Two brothers are liv- ing here: OLE HANSEN, engineer for the Roby Lumber Co., and a younger one who came here a few weeks ago. The funeral services were held at the M. E. church on Sun- day morning. The Odd Fellows, Knights of Labor and Danish Aid societies, of which he was a member, were in attendance in large numbers. The church was crowded, and many who could not gain admittance waited out doors and joined the procession that afterwards accompanied the remains to the grave. It was one of the largest funeral processions ever formed in this city. ========================================================================== If you've reached this file through a SEARCH, you can access more of our growing collection of FREE online information by going to the following URL: http://www.us-data.org/ ==========================================================================
