           Obituary
           
        JOHN W. COLLINS, for many years a resident
      of Ludington and a ship carpenter by trade,
      died suddenly last Friday at the home of a
      sister in Allegan, where he was spending the
      winter. MRS. COLLINS was visiting across the
      lake, but was telegraphed for and came home
      Saturday. She took the noon train for Allegan
      and was present at the funeral.
