XIII. OLD SERIES, NO. 47 VOL. I NEW SERIES, NO. 10 CURTIS DANFORTH CLARK died at his residence on Robert street, Sunday eve- ning last, at 8 o'clock, after an illness of only four days, of erysipelas. Mr. Clark was born in Walpole, N. H., July 11, 1834, which would make him, at the time of his death, 46 years and 14 days old. He moved to this city from the state of Vermont early in the spring of 1872, and was from that time one of Ludington's most upright and honest citizens to the time of his death. He did not engage in any particular avocation until last spring, when he started in the livery business, which, we presume, will still be carried on by his eldest son. The funeral was held at the Congregational church on Tues- day afternoon, and was very largely attended by the many friends of de- ceased. He leaves a wife and three children to mourn his loss, who have the sympathy of the entire community in their bereavement. ==========================================================================
