A. ELLIOTT and a party of ladies were boat sailing last Friday and got stranded on the other side of the lake not far from the Life-Saving station. The breeze was blowing strong at the time and as the boat was disabled, H. W. BEAUPRE, GEO. LEIBOCK and CHAS. TUFT of the station, went to the rescue. They were brought in safely to the home side of the harbor. On the same day FRED HOLT'S boat filled with water and had to be rescued by CHAS. TUFT. It is handy to have a wide awake life saving crew even when you go a boat riding, all on a summer day. ==========================================================================
