Thursday, November 23, 1882

        Last Tuesday morning a disastrous fire swept WM. SAULSBURY's
     residence out of existence. The adjoining building owned by MRS. VOGEL
     was so badly scorched as to be ruined. No insurance on either build-
     ing. The next two residences were occupied by JOHN BRIGGS and ED.
     BAKER. The hasty and disorganized removal of their furniture was a
     serious damage to them. The origin of the fire is unknown. MR. SAULS-
     BURY, who is a very industrious man, with a large family, has the
     sympathy of the community who have allowed their sympathy to materia-
     lize into some assistance to enable him to rise above his misfortune.
