Last Will and Testament of THOMAS MURPHY, deceased.

  Know all men by these Presents, That I THOMAS MURPHY, of the Town-
Ship of Citroy, in the County of Mason, and State of Michigan, farmer being
in poor health, but of Sound and disposing Mind and memory do make and pub-
lish this my last Will and Testament, hereby revoking all former Wills or
writing in the nature of last wills and Testaments heretofore by me made.
  First, I hereby constitute and appoint PETER EASTMAN of the Township of
Sherman, in the Said County of Mason, (Notary Public), to be my Sole
Executor of this my last Will and Testament, directing my said Executor to
pay all my just debts and funeral expenses and the Legacies hereinafter
given out of my Estate.
  Secondly, After the payment of my Said debts and funeral expenses, I
give and bequeath to my beloved Sons, STEPHEN MURPHY, THOMAS C. MURPHY and
WILLIAM MURPHY all of whom I consider I have helped to their Share of my
property, the Sum of five ($5.00) dollars each, and to my beloved Son
MICHAEL MURPHY two hundre ($200.00) dollars; and to my beloved daughter ANN
MURPHY, now the widow of the late JOHN PHELAN the Sum of two hundred
($200.00) dollars; and to my beloved daughter MARY A. MURPHY, I give and
bequeath my house and Lot in the City of Ludington, in Said County of
Mason, better described as follows, being composed of the South half of lot
Six (6), Block Sixty (60), with all ho****, hereditaments, Privelages and
appurtenances thereunto belonging or in anywise appertaining, and I give
and bequeath unto my beloved Son PATRICK JOHN MURPHY all my Real Estate of
which I am possessed, better described as follows; being composed of the
West half of the North West one fourth of Section thirty four (34); and the
South half of the South East one fourth of Section twenty eight (28), both
Parcels being Situate in Township nineteen (19) North, Range Seventeen West
(17 W), Victory. And I also devise and bequeath to my Said beloved Son,
PATRICK JOHN MURPHY all my personal Estate of Whatever nature So ever,
whether house furniture, farm Stock, farming implements, debts due me and
everything there is in the Shape of Personal property of any kind whatso-
ever, Except what Ever may be necessary for to enable my executor above
named to pay all my debts and funeral expenses as aforesaid, and the
Expense of administering my Will and Estate.

  And I hereby revoke all former Last Wills heretofore by me made.
  In Witness whereof I have hereunto Set my hand and Seal the twenty Sixth
day of April A.D. 1885, One Thousand eight hundred and eighty five.
  The above instrument of two papers on one Sheet was at the date thereof
declared to us by the testator THOMAS MURPHY to be his last Will and
testament, and he then acknowledged to each of us that he had Subscribed
the Same and we at his request, and in his presence and in presence of each
other Signed our names hereto as attesting witnesses.
