The first was allowed as the last will of HELEN McCONNELL, (MRS. DR. A. P. McCONNELL) and probated on the petition of her son CHARLES McCONNELL. The will was a peculiar one, having been written by the de- ceased, in her own handwriting. The provisions showed that loving and tender care and remem- brance of all her relatives as well as affection- ate regard in which she held the furniture and beautifyings of her home in which she had assoc- iated with them so many years. Her estate is estimated at $3,300 on the petition and is divided among her children and shared by her husband. The other is that of HORACE BUTTERS, one of our most respected citizens and one of the most manly of men. He divided his entire estate equally, giving to his wife and seven children share and share alike. The sharers in his estate mentioned are MARY BUTTERS his wife, ISABELLE LYONS and MRS. L. ANDERSON his daughters, STEPHEN N. BUTTERS, WILLIAM H. BUTTERS, WALTER E. BUTTERS, CHARLES BUTTER and MARSHALL F. BUTTERS, his sons. MARSHALL F. BUTTERS and JAMES LYONS are appointed executors. In case of their failure to serve the Michigan Trust Co. is substituted. The will will be administered by the executors absolutely in the manner in which the testator wished it to be. =========================================================================== If you've reached this file through a SEARCH, you can access more of our growing collection of FREE online information by going to the following URL: http://www.us-data.org/ ===========================================================================
