Garrigan --------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Last Will and Testament of ANN BURNS, of the Township of Riverton, Mason Co., Mich. In the Name of God, Amen; I, ANN BURNS of the Township of Riverton, County of Mason and State of Michigan, being of Sound and disposing mind and memory, but mindful of my old age and the uncertainty of this life do hereby make, publish and declare this my last will and testament in manner following that is to say: First: I will that all my just debts if any, at the time of my death and my funeral expenses be first paid out of my estate. Second: I desire that the residue of my property both Real and Personal of every name and nature, of which I may died Siezed and possessed, to my grand-daughter ANNE BURNS, daughter of my Son THOMAS BURNS, absolutely and in fee Simple, provided, however, that if Said ANNE BURNS Should not Survive me, or Should die before arriving at the age of twenty-one years, then, I Will that my Said property go to my grand-son, JOHN BURNS Should he Survive me and Said ANNE BURNS; and in case neither of my Said grand-children Should Survive me or live to the age of twenty-one years, then I Will, devise and bequeath all of my Said property, real and personal to my Son THOMAS BURNS, absolutely to himself and heirs and assigns forever. Third: I hereby appoint OWEN J. GARRIGAN the executor of this will, with full power to Sell and convey all my estate, both real and personal without asking or obtaining license from any court for that purpose. In witness I have hereunto Subscribed my name this eighth day of November, A.D. 1883. her ANN X BURNS mark ANN BURNS, the above named testratrix did on the eighth day of November, 1883, acknowledge the foregoing instument and the Signature thereto to be hers to each of us, and we the undersigned, not being interested therein at the request of the Said ANN BURNS, and in her presence, and where She could See us Sign our names, and in the presence of each other, did on the day above named, Subscribed our names hereto as witnesses.
