II NEW SERIES, NO. 12 - JOHN PORTER was convicted, last Wednesday, of being the man who stole the team from WILLIAM ALLEN some time ago, and has been sentenced for three years. The case was defended for all it was worth by Mr. WHEELER, but JOHN was the guilty man, and D. V.
