New Series No. 36 Thursday, January 25, 1883 JOHN HUGHES got too much booze last Tuesday night and was run in by watchman HIGGINS. He failed to produce $7.20 and was sent to jail for seven days, by SQUIRE SCHICK. RANDOLPH NELSON, of Branch township, was brought into the presence of SQUIRE SCHICK yesterday on a charge of vagrancy and will go to the house of correction at Detroit for ninety days. E. J. BEAN was arraigned before JUSTICE METCALF last Friday for disturbing a religious meeting on the evening of Jan. 11th. The trial was adjourned until last Monday, when he was found guilty and fined $25 and costs.
