        THE CIRCUIT COURT
        The circuit court, Hon. J. BYRON JUDKINS, presiding,
     was in session Tuesday and Wednesday. The calendar con-
     tained five criminal cases, nine issues of fact, and
     fourteen causes in chancery. The following causes were
     disposed of as indicated below.
     
        The People vs. JAMES CHAVERS, assault with deadly
     weapon. Continued to next term under former recognizance.
     
        The People vs. DAVID RADLEY, larceny. Sent to state
     reform school at Ionia for 18 months on his plea of guilty.
     
        MOSES LALONDE vs. CHARLES MEARS, appeal. Continued on
     motion of plaintiff.
     
        MOSES LALONDE vs. CHARLES MEARS, attachment. Continued
     on motion of defendant.
     
        PETER SMITH, A. E. CARTIER and LOUIS CARTIER vs. JAMES
     M. LANE, assmmpsit. Continued on motion of defendant.
     
        JARED H. GAY vs. WILLIAM LANDON, DELIA LANDON and ORIN
     A. EATON, ejectment. Continued on motion of plaintiff.
     
        OLE MARTINSON vs. JAMES DANAHER and certain saw logs of
     GARDNER & SPRY Co., appeal. Case argued and submitted.
     
        JOHN HACKERT vs. EUGENE SEBRINER, appeal. Plaintiff non-
     suited, with leave to set aside on or before first day of
     next term.
     
        Decrees were granted in the following divorce cases:
     JOHN MURPHY vs. THERESA MURPHY,
     LAURA VANARMAN vs. GEORGE VANARMAN,
     MARY SYPHER vs. GEORGE SYPHER
     CHANCY EGGLESTON vs. OLIVE EGGLESTON
     and
     ALICE BRADLEY vs. CALVIN BRADLEY.
     
     Court adjourned on Wednesday without day.
