R. Page & Co., Chicago - 1882 -67- CHARLES L. TRIPP, dealer in tobacco, cigars and fancy goods, Ludington, is a native of New York State, and came to Ludington in 1868. His brother, GEORGE TRIPP, had been here for thirteen years, and having prospered, CHARLES was tempted to follow after. In 1878 he started in his present business on Ludington Avenue. He was burned out in the fire of June, 1881, and suffered considerably.
