           JOHN McGRATH is one of the early settlers of Mason County, and
        has been active in the development of the county. For some years
        Mr. McGRATH lived on a farm, and still owns quite a. large amount
        of land. At present he has charge of the mill boarding house of
        Pardee, Cook & Co., at Hamlin.
