D. BLANCHARD, of this city, who has been ill for a long time, at yesterday's session. CAPTAIN BLANCHARD is one of the oldest Masons in Michigan and has always been especially active in the chapter. He holds the rank of past grand high priest, and is the chapter's representative on the board of directors of the Masonic home at Alma. It was largely in honor of CAPTAIN BLANCHARD that the grand chapter decided to meet in Marquette this year, and everybody was delighted that he was able to be present at yesterday's session.
