Charles Gnewuch, Manistee TONNAGE: 39.22 gt DIMENSIONS: 68.2 x 15.8 x 8.3 CASUALTIES: 0 of 8 CAROLINE WILLIAMS was bound for Chicago with the disabled schooner WATERTOWN* in tow when fire was discovered in her coal bunker. Finding it impossible to extinguish the rapidly spreading blaze, the crew left the WILLIAMS and found refuge on the WATERTOWN.
