Morris TONNAGE: 2,053 gt DIMENSIONS: 291x41x19 CASUALTIES: 2 SURVIVORS: 19 The crew was rescued by the steel steamer, Yale, commanded by Capt. James Jackson. An oiler from the William F. Sauber was lost during the transfer to the Yale. Capt. Morris refused a seat on the last rescue yawl and chose to remain aboard the Sauber. Thirty minutes later Captain Morris and the W. F.
