Rolls TONNAGE: 249.43 gt DIMENSIONS: 134.6 x 21.4 x 10.7 CASUALTIES: 0 of 14 Called one of the finest and most powerful tugs on fresh water, VULCAN was bound for Cleveland with a large raft of logs in tow when fire broke out in her engine room and spread rapidly. The crew attempted to extinguish the flames before making their escape in the yawl which, itself, was badly burned. Burning hull towed to Vermillion by the tug CHARLES KELLOGG.
