                    Bound Chicago to Holland, MI., for repairs to what
                  was described as a small leak along the keel. Sighted
                  from shore in distress and already awash. Went down
                  stern first as the Coast Guard sped to her aid. Her
                  three man crew had taken to the dinghy and were not
                  in sight. Dinghy was found overturned by rough seas
                  the next day.
