As the tug neared the piers witnesses saw her picked up on the crest of a high comber and dashed against the south pier. Another swell lifted the TWO BROTHERS and smashed her bow down well on top of the south pier, splitting it from end to end along the keel. August Christianson and Tony Johnson lept into the raging lake from the tug's stern and were swept out into the lake. Ole Elleheimer hung on to the top of the cabin until the tug sank, going down stern first. ======================================================================== Sources: Annual Report of the U.S.L.S.S. - 1913 Merchant Vessel List, 1910 The Pentwater News - 29 November 1912
