                 Sprung a leak during a storm and was beached on the
              N. point of Gull Island where she became a total wreck.
              The fishing tug ELLEN GERTRUDE took the crew of 14 off
              Gull Island and transported them to the the Life-Saving
              Station at Beaver Island.
