                   Built for the Goodrich Transportation Co., at
                Manitowoc, WI., in 1873.  Name changed following
                sale to Stephen B. Grummond (1892) at which time 
                she was also rebuilt and a new engine installed.
                   Bound for Manistee, light, when the piston rod
                broke and punched a hole through her bottom. Went
                down while in tow of a tug attempting to tow her
                into port.
