Capsized off Fairport, OH., August 28, 1849. Three of her crew lost. Capt. Y. L. Wood and the surviving crew were taken off by a passing vessel the next day. Before being righted and towed into Conneaut her rigging was "creatively appropriated" by the crew of the E. M.
