Her capsized hull was towed and beached near Racine by the tug DIXON. When found her stern and cabin were gone. The tug pulled out her bow while beaching her and the H. RAND went to pieces as soon as she was put ashore. What remained of her was blown up on June 1st under direction of Capt. A. B.
