      6 December 1898 - Stranded east of harbor piers at Ashtabula during
                        a heavy snowstorm.  Crew of 7 taken off by the
                        Ashtabula life-savers.  Abandoned to Chicago
                        underwriters as a total loss.  Raised by
                        underwriters; purchased and repaired by James
                        Davidson.  Sold to Mitchell & Rowland Lumber Co.,
                        Toledo, in 1899.

                 1920 - Repairs at Wolverine Drydock - Port Huron.

                 1921 - Owned by Nipigon Transit Co., Port Huron.  Steamer
                        J. C. FORD and her consort GEORGE B. OWEN offered
                        for sale.

       1 October 1926 - Swamped in Detroit River.
