Brown TONNAGE: 554 gt, 489 nt DIMENSIONS: 175.6 x 34.7 x 10.2 CASUALTIES: 9 of 14 The OLWILL left Kelley's Island at 6 p.m. headed for Cleveland with 900 tons of limestone for the breakwater there. When a heavy squall came up from the northeast Capt. Brown attempted to turn the OLWILL into Lorain but the heavy seas parted her wheel chains and she fell into the trough. Heavy rolling caused her cargo to shift and rolled her over. Four of her crew were plucked from the water by the steamer SACRAMENTO while a fifth man was reportedly picked up by the steamer STATE OF OHIO. The casualties included: Capt. John C.
