Burger, Manitowoc, WI MASTER: - TONNAGE: 618 gt (increased to 662 gt in 1895 DIMENSIONS: 193.7 x 29 x 12 CASUALTIES: 0 SURVIVORS: - While in dry dock at Milwaukee in September, 1896, to tighten down a few holding-down bolts on the engine bed, the blocks gave way and the MUSKEGON fell three feet causing such damage that she was declared a total loss. Abandoned by the Goodrich Trans. Co., she was later sold to H. B. Burger of Manitowoc. Milwaukee Dry Dock paid $10,915 to Goodrich Trans. Co for the loss of the MUSKEGON.
