Towed to Detroit for repairs. Oct. 1870 - Ashore above Long Point. Sept. 1871 - Waterlogged on Lake Erie during a gale. Oct. 1876 - Ashore at Menominee, MI May 1881 - Ashore at Skillagalee Oct. 1897 - Capt. Bailey killed by falling into the hold while loading lumber at Naubinway, MI. Oct. 6, 1906 - Ran on the rocks at Bottle Point during a gale. Was heavily loaded with lumber. The lighter, OLGA, was brought out to attempt to save her. Capt. Abrahamson said she likely could have been saved it lightered but he was under directions from the owners to "contract no debts on their account." The MEDORA broke up the next day; her wreckage and cargo strung along the wall off Georgia Street, Buffalo.
