Rierdon TONNAGE: ? DIMENSIONS: 119 x 25.85 x 9.67 CASUALTIES: 2 Went ashore in a gale at Sheboygan, WI., on November 9th while on her way from Chicago to Green Bay for a cargo of lumber. Capt. William Taberner, Marine Inspector of the Columbia Insurance Company, was sent to get her afloat and, finally, on December 1st she was taken in tow by the tug W. K. MUIR and started for Milwaukee for repairs. Just before midnight the MAHONING began to lurch and most of her crew escaped to the tug. Another lurch or two and the MAHONING went to the bottom carrying two men, Capt.
