Myron W. Gotham's brother, 52 year old James E. Gotham, was at the helm of the WILSON. The tow line to the WILSON was cast off as the storm hammered the pair, the WILSON raising sail and finally reaching safety in the lee of Bar Point. Capt. J. E.
