                   Driven ashore while bound for Chicago with a cargo of
                wood. Stripped and abandoned by the 24th of April.
                   Another schooner HELEN KENT was reported sunk off Big
               Sable Point, Lake Michigan, in 1855.  Possibly the same
               vessel and raised.
                   Still found in MVL in 1869.
