                   Enroute from St. Joseph to Muskegon to load with
                 lumber when a storm blew in. Capt. King attempted
                 to turn back and seek shelter at South Haven but,
                 when within sight of the piers, the lake struck a
                 viscious blow to the small schooner and finally
                 capsized her.
