TONNAGE: 65 gt DIMENSIONS: 72 x 17.4 x 10 CASUALTIES: 8 [all] Had recently been sold to Syracuse Sand Company and, after minor repairs and several inspections, was on her way to the new owners dock in Buffalo when she simply vanished. The weather had been clear and fine with little wind. Hopes for her safety were dashed with the discovery of a lifeboat containing the frozen body of one of the CORNELL's crew, Michael Paytosh, by the tug Q. A. GILLMORE.
