Louis Strahan TONNAGE: 517 gt DIMENSIONS: 160 x 30.3 x 12 CASUALTIES: 0 of 12 Carrying 350 cords of pulpwood for the Filer Fiber Co., Manistee, when she was blown off course in a raging blizzard and ran aground north of Manistee, MI. The Manistee coast guard crew made two unsuccessful attempts to reach her but were driven back by huge seas. The CHRISTIE'S crew came ashore in her small boat.
