Johnson, Buffalo (d) MASTER: same TONNAGE: 213.86 gt DIMENSIONS: 111 ft CASUALTIES: 4 of 6 Was bound for Bay City loaded with limestone when overtaken by a savage storm and blown upon a reef off Burnt Cabin Point. Captain Johnson, the cook and one sailor were washed overboard, the remainder lashing themselves to the rigging. Two of the crew, more dead than alive, were rescued by the Point Aux Barques life-saving crew.
