TONNAGE: 69 gt DIMENSIONS: 85.3 x 20.9 x 6.2 CASUALTIES: 0 She was light and bound for Leland when careless navigation put her aground. The tug ACKLEY attempted to release her but failed. By the 10th she had been stripped, her canvas and rigging sent to Chicago. She soon settled with one rail under water. On the 22nd a storm ripped through the area, filling her with sand and sealing her fate. One Milwaukee tug company refused to send a steam pump to her due to her age and comparative worthlessness.
