Wheelhouse carried away. 1849 - Aground at Put-in-Bay Island. Got off with $700 damage. 1857 - Two men killed when her flues collapsed on Lake St. Clair. Chartered to run between Buffalo and Chippewa on the Niagara River. 1858 - Back on her regular route between Detroit and Toledo. In May collided with schooner KATE L. BRUCE near Toledo. Minor damage. 1859 - October 18 ran into the schooner EMORY FLETCHER about 5 miles above Detroit. September, sold to Capt. Pridgeon and J. B. Baker for $6,000 cash & trade of tug GORE, valued at $6,000. 1860 - Broke machinery twice on St. Clair River. Laid up for winter at Detroit. 1861 - Collision with steamer R. R. ELLIOTT in Detroit River. Sold in the Spring of 1863 to Albert Sturgis, of Green Bay, WI.
