W. CHAMERLAIN when the pair ran into a tremendous gale. The aging ALOHA sprung a leak and foundered. She had been reported as probably lost in 1902 during a savage gale on Lake Superior after breaking loose from her tow, the CHARLES HEBARD. Likely sold Canadian about 1913.
