              Veteran Lake Captain Is Dead
                In Hamilton
                
              Captain J. L. WEEKS, 76, who was connected
            with lage (sic) shipping for 50 years and who
            had many friends in trade, died at Hamilton,
            O., Thursday morning. Captain WEEKS was with
            the Gilchrist Transportation company for 30
            years and was shore captain for a number of
            years. He has been with the Interlake Steam-
            ship company, since 1913 when the company took
            over 15 steamers of the Gilchrist fleet. He
            was retired in 1921. The body will be taken
            to Cleveland for burial.
