Special to the Toronto World. Brockville, March 30. - CAPTAIN DANIEL MURPHY, one of the best known mariners on the rivers and lakes, died at his home in Ogdensburg following a surgical operation. CAPT. MURPHY was a Canadian, born at North Augusta, in Grenville County, 73 years ago. He began his career of a sailor with the old Northern Transportation Company. He was afterwards connected with the Rutland fleet of boats and remained with that company until a few years ago. His last service was rendered in the Wolvin Line. He is survived by his widow and five sons. ===========================================================================
