        SHIP BUILDING IN DOOR COUNTY -
      Mr. David Clow, from Chamber's Island, was in town a few days
      since, and gave us the dimensions of the largest vessel yet
      built in door county, which he is building at Chamber's Island,
      measuring 120 ft. keel; 27 ft. breadth of beam; 10 ft. depth of
      hold. She is to be rigged as a fore and aft schooner, and will
      be ready to go into the grain or lumber trade in May. We wish
      the vessel and its worthy builder every success in so commend-
      able an enterprise, and as there is an abundance of all kinds
      of valuable ship timber in Door county, we hope to see this
      branch of industry increase and flourish.
