Capt. W. A. Boswell purchased a half interest in the steamer MAGNET last Monday. We learn that the propeller MESSENGER collided with a schooner off Big Point Sauble last Tuesday night, and went to Milwaukee for repairs. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Pentwater News Friday, May 22, 1874 [extracts of marine news] On Saturday, May 16, the tug ALDRICH, of Ludington, was damaged by fire, to the estimated extent of $3,000. Origin of fire unknown.
