Manistee - From the Times we learn that the propeller MANISTEE, which left Milwaukee on the evening of the 20th, while entering Manistee harbor the next morning, struck on the engine of the pile driver, burned at the time of the great fire, and which lay on the bed of the river, breaking in one of the bottom planks of the vessel. She was heavily loaded with lumbermen's supplies, but by vigorous pumping she was kept afloat, although she leaked badly, until she arrived at Canfield's dock, where although the city fire engine came to her assistance, she sunk in nine feet of water. Her cargo was safely dis- charged, and the damage was not serious. Grand Haven - From the Herald, we learn that on Monday of last week the IRONSIDES was from half past four until nine o'clock in making her way through the ice of that famous winter harbor, from the mouth of the river to the wharf. NOTE: no further marine news in February. ===========================================================================
