XII No. 24 - We had a snow storm Tuesday night independent of the storm signal. - Emmett Farrell started on Monday night for Huntley, Illinois, for a short vacation. He took passage on board of the TRUESDEL. - Caswell & Breinig are fitting out the CYCLONE, which they expect to have completed by to-morrow night, for the purpose of engaging in the fishing business, for a few weeks, with a gentleman from St. Joseph, whose name we have not learned. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ MASON COUNTY RECORD, Ludington, Michigan Friday, February 28th, 1879 VOL. XII No. 25 - The scow RESTLESS, bound from Pentwater to Manistee, having on board five hundred barrels of Nickerson & Collister's flour, got on the beach Friday night, just north of the harbor; she was driven hard against the ice bank, and before Saturday night was fastened in firmly, by the ice field, brought by the west wind. The hull will probably be a total loss. The cargo was saved, very little injured. ===========================================================================
