RUSSELL RITES THURSDAY Funeral services for the late veteran lake captain, WILLIAM J. RUSSELL, 75, who died Sun- day afternoon at his home, 363 Morton avenue, will be held Thursday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the Reiser chapel. The Rev. HOWARD A. BLANNING, pastor of the First Congregational church will officiate. Burial will be in the St. Joseph City cemetery. CAPTAIN RUSSELL was lake captain for the Graham & Morton steamship line for 45 years. He was a 32nd degree Mason, and a charter mem- ber of the Maccabee lodge. He leaves the following brothers and a sister: FRANK RUSSELL of Fountain, Mich., HENRY RUSSELL of Baroda, CALVIN RUSSELL of Chicago, and Mrs. VERN BORT of St. Joseph.
